Welcome to my online stream of consciousness and creative outlet. Here you will find my thoughts on trending topics and current events, the things that inspire and interest me most, and my fashion and beauty collaborations.
I am a 20 year old philosophy student at the University of Nottingham who loves travellingfashion, documentaries, debateanimalsfood, and fine art. I hope that through this blog I will be able to interact with like-minded people who share similar interests, or who wish to engage with me in philosophical debate.

In today’s society, it’s often difficult to feel heard. With the overwhelming amount of content flying around online fighting for your attention, it seems that it has become a challenge to last even the duration of a meal without checking your phone at all. Only the other day I was excitedly relaying a debate that had occurred in my meta-ethics seminar to my friend, when I noticed her eyeing up the notifications and alerts on her home screen. Although not actually actively on her phone, she was distracted by the thought that she could be missing out on something online, and consequently wasn’t really present or paying full attention to what I was saying. (Of course there’s always the possibility that maybe she just wasn’t really interested in my story, but you get my point: we as a society are are addicted to technology.)

With the average Brit spending just under 3 hours a day online, it seems that perhaps I have more of a chance of being properly heard through my blog posts.

As I aspire to pursue a career in advertising and marketing, I want to further develop my knowledge and experience of social media; I have learnt from experience that online platforms are invaluable in communicating with, and promoting to, an astounding number of people. I hope that with the development of my skills and the growth of this blog, I will be able to share my thoughts, writing and artwork effectively with the blogging world – and hopefully receive constructive feedback too.
